About me

I am now a Full Professor at Beihang University in Beijing, China.

I received my PhD in "Estimation of multiple sound sources with data and model uncertainties" in Dec 2014 from Sorbonne University - University of Technology of Compiègne, France, under the supervision of Jérôme Antoni, Benjamin Quost, and Jean-Daniel Chazot. During my PhD, I also worked in the CNRS (National Center of Scientific Research of France) laboratories Heydiasyc UMR CNRS 7253 (information science) and Roberval UMR CNRS 7337 (mechanics and acoustics). Before my PhD, I obtained my MSc (Probability, supervised by Shoumei Li) and BSc (Computational Mathematics) both from Beijing University of Technology, China.

Between Mar 2015 and Sept 2016, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the laboratory M2P2 (UMR CNRS 7340), Ecole Centrale Marseille, Aix-Marseille University, France, working with Pierre Sagaut. I was a Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, between Oct 2016 and Feb 2020, where I was working in the theme-based project Smart Urban Water Supply Systems, led by Mohamed S. Ghidaoui.

I joined in School of Reliability and Systems Engineering, Beihang University, China in Apr 2020 and have been a Full Professor since Feb 2022.

My research interests include acoustical inverse problems, source localization, defect detection, pipe acoustics, uncertainty quantification, and reliability analysis.
